Why Colombia
Latin American Spanish is not one language with accents. Vocabulary, register and pragmatic usage vary systematically by region, and a model trained mainly on one variant tends to underperform on the others. Colombia gives an AI data operation native speakers across those variants, alongside Portuguese, English, French and German, in a country whose data protection regime under Ley 1581 gives clients a clear compliance footing. Corpshore runs annotation and model-evaluation work primarily from Medellín and Cali, where technical and linguistic judgement concentrate.
