Client profile
The client is a German industrial manufacturer with a growing Latin American dealer and customer network. It needed Germanlanguage support that could serve its European headquarters and German-speaking dealers while sitting in a time zone and cost structure aligned with its Latin American operations, a combination its existing German-based support could not provide affordably.
The challenge
The manufacturer's German-language support ran entirely from Germany at German cost, and extending it to cover the widening Latin American dealer network's hours was pushing the operation into expensive evening and night shifts in Europe. German-language service level had slipped to 68% as the German team stretched across widening hours, and dealer satisfaction with support responsiveness had begun to appear in the manufacturer's channel surveys. German-language capability is genuinely scarce in Latin America, and the manufacturer assumed that German support simply could not be delivered from the region at professional quality. It had not seriously evaluated a Latin American option because it did not believe one existed. The register expectation was high. German-speaking industrial customers and dealers expect a precise, professional register, and anything less would reflect on a premium manufacturing brand.
Why Corpshore Colombia
Corpshore Colombia proposed Bogotá, where the capital's international professional pool includes German speakers at a level sufficient to staff a small, high-quality desk. Corpshore could demonstrate C1 German capability that the manufacturer had
assumed did not exist in the region, which reframed the entire question for the client. Corpshore proposed a small, senior, quality-first desk rather than a volume operation, matching the manufacturer's actual need, which was register and reliability rather than scale.
The engagement
Twenty-eight agents in Bogotá, C1 or higher German, with Spanish and English capability, plus three team leaders and two QA analysts. Coverage aligns to Central European business hours, which sit in the early part of the Colombian day. Agents complete a structured onboarding covering the manufacturer's product range, dealer processes, German professional register and the brand's service standards.
Approach and methodology
A quality-first German desk. The desk was built for register and reliability rather than raw volume, matching the premium expectations of German-speaking industrial customers and dealers. Explicit register standard. A German professional register standard was defined and assessed, so the desk consistently meets the precise, professional tone the brand requires. Time-zone bridge. The Colombian working day covers Central European business hours in its early part, allowing the desk to serve German-speaking customers during their business day without European night shifts. Joint calibration with headquarters. Quality is calibrated with the manufacturer's German quality team against the same standard applied to the German-based operation.
German-language service level
Results
German-language service level rose from 68% to 95% by month 12, and dealer satisfaction with support responsiveness returned to target in the manufacturer's channel surveys. The manufacturer relieved its German-based team of the extended-hours burden, allowing it to focus on complex escalations while routine German support ran from Bogotá. Cost per German-language contact fell substantially against the German baseline, which the manufacturer has partly reinvested in extending German support hours further.
Enduring value
The German professional register standard is a shared asset used in the manufacturer's own onboarding. The Bogotá German desk has become a permanent part of the manufacturer's support model. Corpshore Colombia has established German as a defined
specialist-language capability, rare in the region.

We assumed German support could not be delivered from Latin America at the level our brand requires. Corpshore proved otherwise in the evaluation, and the desk has held that standard since.
